ABOUT THE CHAIRMAN

My journey for the last 45 years has been incredible, but looking forward to what is yet to come brings an excitement and a hope that is far beyond what I had envisioned.

When I take a trip down memory lane, I remember how little I knew when I started out at the age of 16. Driven purely by passion and a hunger for learning, I set about on a journey. I knew this would be a challenging journey, one that would transform me and ultimately make me the man I am today.

Today, with the support from the Golyan family and our valued stakeholders, I am proud to say our business has grown manifold, more than what I had envisioned at the young age of 16. The horizon is no longer a limit!

My vision for Golyan Group has only expanded: We want to take Nepal to the World by exporting high-quality textile and agricultural products. Sustainable energy is the answer to a cleaner, greener, and better future, so we want to develop 500 MW in hydro energy by 2025. A greater focus on agricultural and renewable energy sectors as well as our CSR will help contribute to Nepal’s welfare and development; and by growing the textile industry in Nepal, we will strive to generate employment for all citizens.

I know for a fact that our journey forward is only going to be greater, more challenging, but much more fulfilling. We will continue to collaborate closely with our stakeholders and partners to reinvigorate Nepal’s growth and deliver long-term sustainable value to our end customers.
